中学英语教与学的问题及策略论文 论文关键词： 课外辅导 教学方法 学习策略 自主学习 论文摘要： 本文由中学生去参加英语课外辅导班背后的原因谈到中学英语课堂教学的问题并提出建议性的策略，旨在表明学生的和谐、长远、全面发展才是英语课程的出发点和归宿。 现在不管是在城市还是在农村，英语辅导班已经不再是一个新鲜的事物，英语课外辅导班已经成为了市场经济里一面有着强大生命力的旗帜，也成为众多中学生英语学习的一个重要组成部分。 暑假将至，英语辅导班的旺季来临了，众多学生在结束了学校的学习任务之后又将走向英语课外辅导，我们是否该思考一下，学生参加英语课外辅导班背后的一些问题：到底是什么原因使英语课外辅导班有如此旺盛的生命力？学校的英语课堂教学到底存在着什么样的问题？学校教育的本质与目的何在？英语课程的出发点和归宿是什么？ 本人近期对某中学高二年级学生做过一项调查，该校高二年级共有五个班,平均每班有学生50人,正在参加英语课外辅导班的人数平均都在30名以上，,调查表明,百分之八十以上的在校学生都参加过英语课外辅导班。 到底为什么去参加英语课外辅导班呢？经过访谈得知原因主要有三种，一种是学生的英语基础实在太差，跟不上英语课堂的正常进度，又不能放弃只能依靠课外辅导提高，；另外一种是家长想让自己孩子的英语成绩更加优异，在参加高考的时候更有竞争力；最后一种没有具体原因，主要看到其他的孩子去报班学习，觉得是一种时尚也应该去赶潮流，归于攀比心理。同时在访谈中得知大约有70%的学生不是发内心的自己愿意去上英语辅导班的，大多是父母的意思，还有一小部分学生是看到了身边的伙伴去上了英语辅导班，是为了和伙伴攀比。 暂且不谈学生参加英语课外辅导在时间，资金等各方面的投入有多大。或许参加课外辅导班确实让一部分学生短期内的英语学习成绩有所提高。但是学校教育仅以学习成绩来衡量学生的发展是否可以？中学英语的教与学的问题上，到底教师该怎样教，学生该怎样学，学校怎样来培养学会学习，学会生存，学会做人，学习做事的人，已经成为一个沉重的话题。 根据访谈得知部分学生在校英语学习效果不佳，课后去上辅导班主要是因为学校的英语课堂教育存在着以下几个主要问题： 一、教师个人素养不高 部分学生觉得英语教师讲课没有任何特色，根本不能吸引自己的注意力也引不起自己的学习兴趣。学生还反映个别英语教师上课懒散，敬业精神存在问题，有的甚至明显存在着知识结构欠缺的情况，在这种课堂环境下，学生认为会影响自己学习英语的积极性。 二、学生得不到平等的待遇 在大班教学的情况下，教师顾及不到每一个学生。很常见的现象教师大部分时间只会和优秀的学生交流，很多学生在课堂上得不到老师的有效指导和帮助，也得不到关心和重视，所以部分学生就会丧失自信心，对英语的学习逐渐变得没有任何的激情，英语课堂的学习效果自然不会太好。 三、教师没有引导学生到底该如何学习英语 一部分学生觉得教师上课全部是知识点的传授，课堂输入的内容太多，学生不能理解性的接受，自然体会不到英语到底该怎样的运用，不知道怎样学习英语，教师没有引导性的告知学生学习英语的有效策略。 四、考试太多，评价方式单一 教师和家长过于关注学生英语成绩的高低，但是部分学生的英语成绩长期不能提高，学生自己就没有把英语学好的信心了。把考试成绩作为衡量学生努力和学习好坏的唯一标准会让很多学生越来越有挫败感，造成一定程度上的恶性循环。 针对上述提到的问题，给予以下建议性策略： 一、教师要提升个人素养 教师个人素养的高低直接影响中学生英语学习的积极性。作为教师首先要热爱教师事业，要有强烈的责任感和严谨治学的态度，其次要有扎实的专业知识素养，最后要有作为教师的个人魅力，把自己的个人风格和英语教学完美结合，使其具有个人特色。 二、教师要关注每一个学生 英语教师要多和学生沟通交流建立感情，尤其是和在英语学习上有困难的.学生交朋友，去帮助他们建立学习英语的自信心。要站在学生的角度思考问题，用“移情”法来处理学生的问题，不能依据学生英语成绩的高低而对学生区别对待，要公平对待每一个学生。 三、教师要优化教学方法 在英语的教学上，建议英语教师多种教学方法相结合。例如词汇教学，教师可以根据音、形、义相结合的原则，采用直观法，运用一些实物和图片讲解词汇；采用构词法，告诉学生经常用的构词法，如词根法、词缀法和合词法去帮助学生分析和记忆词汇；还有比较法分类等，增强词汇教学的直观性，情景性，趣味性。针对阅读教学，可以遵循兴趣激发原则、层层设问原则，因材施教原则，采用任务型教学法，在阅读前通过游戏，动画，故事等设计情境导入词汇，扫除障碍，在阅读中设计活动让学生通过完成任务来学习语言知识，提高语言技能。总之教师的教学要以学生为中心，从学生的角度出发，上好每一节英语课！ 四、教会学生英语学习的策略 教师要教会学生如何学习，让学生掌握学习的策略。例如词汇的学习，教师可以根据具体的词汇的特点向学生介绍相应的策略。一般有以下几种策略：引导学生采用归类记忆、阅读记忆、最佳时期记忆、兴趣记忆拆词记忆，猜测记忆、联想记忆等策略；针对阅读的学习可分为阅读前策略，扫除障碍，预测情节；阅读中策略，略读，跳读，寻找主题句，信息转换提问等；阅读后策略复述，转述，填空等策略，教师不仅要授之以鱼更要授之以渔。 五、改变原有的评价模式 在英语的学习中采用多主体评价，采用引导学生自我评价和同学之间互评等模式，培养学生的自我意识，让学生自己去认识自己在英语学习中的不足；同时要注重形成性评价和终结性评价的结合，关注学生平时的学习表现，关注他们每一个进步，多用鼓励性评语去鼓励学生，不能把最终的考试成绩当做对学生学习英语好坏的唯一评价标准。 但是以上策略要发挥作用重要的是去改变学生的学习方式，培养学生自主学习的能力。伟大的教育家苏霍姆林斯基曾经说过：“没有自我教育，没有用于认识自我教育的紧张脑力劳动和意志努力，教育和教学便不可能实现。”所以在关注提高教师的个人素养和完善教学方法的同时，还需要去激发学生的自主学习意识和培养学生的自主学习能力。 不管是学校的英语课堂教育还是英语课外辅导教育对学生自己而言，都是一种以他人教育为主的教育，国际委员会提出的教育报告《学会生存——教育世界的今天和明天》，其中谈到：“未来的学校必须把教育的对象变成自己教育自己的主体。受教育的人必须成为教育他自己的人，别人的教育必须成为这个人自己的教育。”应该提倡的还是在学校教育的主导作用下，改变教育理念，教学方法，教学模式及评价模式来培养学生学会学习，学会生存，具备终身学习的技能。 学校教育的目的和教师的作用是在于激发学生的求知欲，培养学生的学习兴趣，教会学生学习的策略和生存的技能，培养具备学习能力和生存技能的人，这才是教育的真正目的所在，学生的和谐、长远、全面发展才是英语课程的出发点和归宿。 参考文献： [1]张天宝新课程与课堂教学改革[m]．北京：人民教育出版社，2003 [2]何少庆英语教学策略理论与实践运用[m]．浙江大学出版社，2010 [3]蒋碧艳,梁红京学习评价研究：基于新课程背景下的实践[m]．上海：华东师范大学出版社，2006 ;
